About Ashton

At twenty six years old, after four years of marriage, I had my sweet little girl, Eloise, on April 21, 2022.

I never considered myself a “maternal person” or even had much desire to be pregnant, but my husband has always dreamed of being a dad. We met in our freshman year of college in 2014. We were in band together and regularly attended the BSU’s Wednesday night worship. We eventually ended up transferring to EMCC, which you may recognize from the Netflix show Last Chance U. I graduated with my associates in ophthalmic technology in May of 2017, and we were married one year later.

My husband, Landon, is a lineman and worked away from home for the first seven months of our marriage. At that point, he was offered a job in metro Atlanta, so we packed up our things and left our families and everything we knew in Mississippi.

In August of 2021, we found out we were pregnant with Eloise. Just two months later, my husband was approached about moving once again, but this time back to Mississippi in the town he grew up in. We took the opportunity to come back home and headed out just two days before Thanksgiving 2021.

It took us a month after returning to find a new house and then another three weeks to complete renovations and move in.

We finally settled in and had Eloise a few months later.

Before returning to Mississippi, I was a COA (certified ophthalmic assistant) working for various ophthalmologists. Now, I stay home with my little girl and run a beauty business from my phone.

I am ready to see where the adventure of motherhood takes me, and I hope you are ready to ride along with me.
