Being a new mom is tiring. You’re adjusting to a whole new life, and it can be hard to balance things out and manage your time. Between grandparents, great grandparents, and even just wanting to do something special with your own little family, the holidays can definitely make you feel like you’re running ragged. While your family should never make you feel obligated to bring a dish to their festivities, you may feel a little odd arriving empty handed. We’ve compiled a list of our easiest dishes with very little clean-up in efforts to make this holiday season a little easier on you.

Use a liner for easy clean up!
Rice Consomme
Ingredients:
1 cup of white rice (uncooked)
1 (10 oz) can of French onion soup
1 (10 oz) can beef consomme
1 stick of butter (cut into cubes)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Add rice, French onion soup, and beef consomme to an 8x8 baking dish (go for the disposable aluminum dish for easy clean up!) and stir together.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 30 minutes.
Dump & Go Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 cup of self-rising flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1 stick of butter
1 (28 oz) can of sliced peaches
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the stick of butter in a 9x13 baking dish (use disposable aluminum pan for minimal clean up!) and place dish in oven for a few minutes, until the butter is melted.
Whisk together flour, sugar, and milk. (Wait until the pan of melted butter comes out and mix it directly in the pan to avoid dirtying a mixing bowl!)
Pour can of peaches and juice over the flour/sugar/milk mixture but do not stir.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream!
Heath Bar Poke Cake
Ingredients:
1 box of German chocolate cake mix (and the ingredients called for on the back of the box)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup of caramel ice cream topping
16 oz container of cool whip
1 bag of crushed Heath bar
Directions:
Bake German chocolate cake according to box instructions and let it cool completely. (Again, use an aluminum pan here to help with clean up!)
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all along the top of the cake.
Mix together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel in a bowl or cup with a pour spout. Pour the mixture over the holes in the cake.
Frost the cake with cool whip to your liking, then sprinkle over the top with crushed Heath bar bits.
Refrigerate overnight and enjoy! (The longer this cake has to sit and soak, the yummier it gets!)
